Similitude: Don't act dumb on your smartphone

Romans 1:19-20

"Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse..."

Hold on, it's not a sermon...

Okay, maybe it is, maybe not. It depends on how you see it.

I get it. 'Sermon' these days is synonymous to boring. But I assure you if you can stay with me here, it would be worth it.

My understanding of the above text is that God in a bid to reveal himself to his creatures (we) who hardly seek or recognize Him, leaves clues or uses similitudes all around creation (including man-made things) for us to acknowledge His existence, His ways and other spiritual laws and principles.
Today, we'd be going back to the very beginning.

Creation Vs the Big Bang Theory. God or Monkeys.

But I'm not here to start a one hundred and fifty nine year debate. (Thank you sir Charles Darwin) I'm just gonna drop my similitude 'punchline' and leave. I would like to state that this world was fashioned by an Intelligent designer, God using the similitude of a Smartphone.

Now pause...

I would not be wrong to say almost a quarter of the world uses an android phone.

Question...

How many of us, even freakishly tech addicted folks care to know the makers of these awesome gadgets?

I know we all know Steve Jobs even though most of us we may never use an iPhone. (Because well...Steve Jobs did his branding so well, Steve Jobs was synonymous to Apple) but I bet more than half of Samsung, Tecno or Infinix users (especially, Nigerian consumers) don't know who their producers are.

Haha! Got you! You are checking for it now on Google right?

Ok, my drift is the fact you don't know who the producers of these smart gadgets are doesn't change the fact that these  devices were designed by people of high intelligence. They may not always make a YouTube video to advertise themselves just like God won't. He is too self-sufficient to be popping up out of the skies to say hi and so that we can know he is still in charge. Or just because we are using this planet without caring to acknowledge the owner doesn't mean the owner doesn't exist.

People (like that your roommate) who just pick up things they found and claiming it for themselves doesn't replace the fact that it has an owner.

He is the creator. We are the created. We do the seeking (Funny enough, he does seek to be known because of his love for us. if you would be open to receive Him)
